Brave New World was a critical reboot for Marvel of the Captain American character, a superhero without superpowers who must fight to maintain his independence from both the US president and the world. Thought of as a political thriller in the vein of Winter Soldier, we aspired to ground the movie and sets in a real world, but still create a heightened world consistent within the MCU
