BLACK WIDOW

Designing the LA Unit of Black Widow was a great experience, building off of what was established in principal photography, but creating new sets and locations that provided depth and variety to the project. As on many of the other Marvel projects I have designed, we were tasked to come up with the end credits sequence, which revealed the death of Natasha, and her sister taking over, an emotional moment in the film. Providing backstory for Natasha was important, so we created a number of flashback sets, and and a really intense scene about child smuggling in container ships that tells the story of the Black Widow program.
