As Production Designer of the Los Angeles Unit there were a number of challenges on Spiderman No Way Home, but one of the greatest was one of the smallest: how to design Peter's Apartment, the critical final scene of the movie where Peter understands that he is alone in the world with MJ and his friends permanently forgetting him under Dr Strange's spell. Working with director Jon Watts, we created a simple, yet powerful NY Tenement apartment that involved careful consideration of color, texture, lighting and set decoration to reinforce that sense of isolation, closing the movie with the intended sense of loss, yet courage
